10 Reasons To Throw Out Your Microwave Oven

Did you know that re-heating your leftovers in the microwave could be causing you everything from brain damage to hormonal disruption, malnutrition, a weakened immune system and increased fat storage?
According to Dr Leo Roy of Westbank, B.C, and based on the conclusions of varied Swiss, Russian and German scientific clinical studies, you simply cannot afford to ignore the health dangers associated with microwaved foods. Here are 10 reasons why.
1). Continually eating food processed from a microwave oven causes long term – permanent – brain damage by ‘shorting out’ electrical impulses in the brain (de-polarizing or de-magnetizing the brain tissue).
2). The human body cannot metabolize (break down) the unknown by-products created in microwaved food.
3). Male and female hormone production is shut down and/or altered by continually eating microwaved foods.
4). The effects of microwaved food by-products are residual (long term, permanent) within the human body.
5). Minerals, vitamins, and nutrients of all microwaved food is reduced or altered so that the human body gets little or no benefit, or the human body absorbs altered compounds that cannot be broken down.
6). The minerals in vegetables are altered into cancerous free radicals when cooked in microwave ovens.
7). Microwaved foods cause stomach and intestinal cancerous growths (tumors). This may explain the rapidly increased rate of colon cancer in America .
8). The prolonged eating of microwaved foods causes cancerous cells to increase in human blood.
9). Continual ingestion of microwaved food causes immune system deficiencies through lymph gland and blood serum alterations.
10). Eating microwaved food causes loss of memory, concentration, emotional instability, and a decrease of intelligence.
Now really – is the idea of eating cold food (or perhaps going to the trouble of buying a small oven warmer for the office) really so bad? Surely if the health side of things doesn’t get you, you can at least acknowledge that microwaved food is often almost tasteless anyway! Talk about a lose-lose situation – especially when you’re going to the trouble of buying and preparing good organic meals.
I havent eaten microwaved food for three years now and feel great for it. AND I can certainly notice the difference when Ive inadvertently eaten it – it just sits n the stomach. It means that I eat some items cold when out buying from a cafe or that when Im at home I use a good old fashioned cast iron pan to warm up food. And on another point, I threw out al my teflon coated pots and pans and now run with cast iron or enamel. Can really taste the difference in the food – it tastes better! Not to mention my refusal to ingest unknown matter ie teflon in my food…get back to natural food in its natural state!

I find this hard to believe. I would like to see the studies that show these things to be true. Do you have a list of references I could read? I need to see this for myself. I am an American PA and am very interested in preventative medicine.
I have read much the opposite of what you write here and would like to see the evidence that these things occur, especially the hormonal effects! The minerals into free radicals is very interesting also. Thanks

I wanted to ask is it ok to eat food from the microwave that is fresh..say boiling some fresh broccoli as It is hard at work all we have is a microwave.. I did get myself a forman grill which is great but getting my daily veg can be a problem..
