Great tips Kat! Also, thanks for introducing me to another great v/blog to fuel my addiction, I figure with all the good positive tips, advice and influence, it’s bound to work into making my habits better sooner or later, preferably the former!

Cheers :)

I’m working on getting the best breakfast I can have at the moment. Last week I had chicken with some cheese, green beans and seeds for two days and felt amazing! Although, I ran out of chicken and time so I let it slip but I’m starting again this week. The last two days I have had a hard boiled egg with some mayo and green beans (quicker and cheaper). I have felt satisfied hunger and energy wise but it doesn’t seem big enough in keeping with having big meals at the start of the day and getting smaller by dinner time. Also, I haven’t been ‘regular’ with this breakfast.

Usually I eat puffed millet, puffed qinoa with added fibre, bee pollen and chia seeds with full fat yogurt. This keeps me ‘regular’ but I felt more sluggish – is something like this high enough in protein and fat to be an ideal breakfast?

I’m looking forward to keeping on trialing things until I find the healthy breakfast that works for me.

Hi Jessie! Sounds like you’re doing a really great job! Generally I would say that plant proteins and superfoods are okay but not AS good as animal proteins …
