Who do you see when you look in the mirror? I believe that we have a choice – we can choose to see ourselves as we have been and as we believe we are; accepting that we don’t always get what we want or that maybe this is ‘it’. Or we can see open possibility. A clean slate. The chance to write our own future and become a new – or at least renewed – woman.
Woman Incredible is all about you, and the possibilities that exist for you. It’s about your hopes and dreams, your struggles with your body and your mind, and your absolute determination to take back control of your life and start being the ‘you’ you’ve always dreamed of being.
In more ways than one.
a certain inner turmoil
Of course the concept of this blog and community started with me; with my hopes and dreams and with my personal wins and challenges over the years. Woman Incredible was, quite honestly, born out of everything I’ve gone through over the past 11 years as I’ve slowly but surely figured out how to have both the body and the life I’ve always known I could have. Which means – initially at least – it’s a reflection of many things about me. From my beliefs on goalsetting and following your dreams, to how I exercise and eat (and some ideas for you on how to exercise and eat), to what I do to manage stress and a busy life, to that certain inner turmoil that all of us driven women can understand and that never quite goes away.
No matter how much we achieve.
The idea behind Woman Incredible, of course, is that all that stuff about me just brings us right back to you. I wanted to create something for women similar in mindset to me. For women I could completely relate to and who I believe I can help – women like you. Not because I think I can relate to every little circumstance of your life, but because I ‘get’ where you’re coming from when it comes to battling that inner turmoil.
And because I know how to get the best of it – most of the time
this is YOUR blog; YOUR community
For arguments sake I suppose I am the self-appointed leader, but truthfully I’d like you to see me more as a guide or collator of information. I want to grow Woman Incredible with your input; I want this to be an evolving thing that is in no way pre-determined. Something that molds to what you want and need it to be.
Of course it has to start somewhere.
Which brings me to my next point – I know you’re here not just for community and support, but also to learn the truth about what ‘it’ really takes, and how to get there. So I want to be really clear on some key points that I believe every Woman Incredible needs to consider.
I’m sure there’s a LOT more that could be said on this than what I’ve put together, but these are some basic principles of health and success to get you started. Let’s call these pages the Woman Incredible ‘foundation’ principles.
This is the stuff that’s transformed my life, and can transform yours.
Enjoy!
PS: If I strung all of these together it would be book-quality in terms of length (well, and quality I hope!). So don’t feel you have to read them all at once – certainly try to avoid skimming. Maybe just go through the one that jumps out at you most, and then read one every day over the next few days.
If all of that isn’t enough reading and inspiration for you, then you may like to take a quick look at the following ‘extras’.
you and biosignature
If something even more personal is what you’re after, then make sure you visit my Biosignature page. Biosignature is ‘forensic nutrition’, and uses changes in body fat at certain points to determine your hormonal levels. This allows me to help you overcome blocking factors for fat loss and health – most women who try Biosignature are already doing the right thing most of the time, and for some reason just not getting results. That’s where hormones come in, as well as personalised nutrition.

Hi Kat!
My friend has been to a couple of your seminars in Perth and only has amazing things to say. I have been looking for something like this for a while as I am very interested in improving my general health and well being (with losing a few kgs and toning up as an added bonus!! :p)
I am a 25 year old female, nurse, 172cm tall, 58kg. I have never really had an issue with my weight fluctuating highly per se but I have neverbeen more interested then I am now of what I am putting into and getting out of my body if that makes sense? I have also got PCOS and suffer from anxiety so I also fear that this will prevent me from losing weight in the future. Basically my hormones are all over the place sometimes!!
So about me and my general health regime…
I remember when I was a teenager I used to come home from school and eat nearly a full tub of feta, the next day half a can of condensed sweetened milk or buscuits like they were going out of fashion. I didnt exercise a great deal, worked at McDonalds yet never really seemed to put on weight. When I turned 19-20 (Maccas fulltime, uni student at the tav quite a bit :p, first serious relationship with my now fiance) I put on about 6-7kg reaching my max of 66kg. Didn’t care too much about it until I was about 22 when it started becoming an issue for me. I started going to the gym but didn’t feel like it was doing anything- I just couldn’t shift it so I turned to what I was eating. Now I regretfully say that I tried The Kate Morgan diet plan for about 6 months where I did lose the 7kg. Great at the time but now I fear that I have made it incredibly hard for my body to maintain that. I have still got a bit of a tummy and I really want to tone up my arms. I now am very very strict (my fiance would say obsessive :p) about my intake. I have been gluten free for nearly a year now and I limit my dairy intake. I have looots of salad and vegies and I love seafood. In terms of my exercise I do personal training with my bestie twice a week, gym 2-3x a week (weighttraining & cardio), i aim to do a 4k run 1x/wk and i was doing pilates for a while there too.
After reading your blog and all about you, I have discovered that I probably am not eating enough protein and doing half the things I should be doing! I am so looking forward to getting to know all about this more and I have already signed up for the $1 platinum package!!
Hear from you soon!
Kind regards,
Alycia
Hi Alycia,
Thank you so much for sharing your story! I can definitely relate to the idea of being able to get away with crazy eating in your early twenties. Eventually it catches up with us all and we have to give ourselves a kick up the butt to not only get back on track but also to truly learn about what does and does not work.
It’s great to have you on board as a VIP – be sure to stop by the forum and keep myself and the other VIP ladies updated on your progress!
