About

Woman Incredible is a blog for driven women who are health aware but not quite reaching their goals. As Australia’s Female Fat Loss Queen my goal is to educate you on what it really takes to lose fat and look and feel your best. The focus of this blog is on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle, but you’ll also find motivational tips and real-life stories to ensure you stay on track and truly create the transformation you’re looking for.

My passion is empowering you and all driven women to take control of their bodies and look and feel your very very best.

Before you start trawling through the archives of this blog and getting involved in the comments, I want you to think about what it would take to achieve the goal of being your ‘best you’. Let me ask you –

Can you remember a time when you felt truly invincible? When you were so full of energy and life that you felt like you could take on the world? It might have been after winning a major challenge within your career, or perhaps beating a personal best in your chosen sport, or maybe even something as frivolous (yet crucial!) as finding the perfect outfit for an important event and realising you’d actually pulled off THE perfect look and that for once you were going to have photos you really love of yourself!

That feeling?

The one where you feel so damn powerful you just know you can do or be whatever you want. Aside from the nutrition and the training and the rock-solid fat loss advice, that’s what Woman Incredible is about.

It’s about taking charge of your life, reaching for your dreams, knocking procrastination on the head once and for all. But let’s get specific – I’m not just talking fluffy feel-good motivational techniques. I’m talking about taking charge of the physical you in order to create unlimited power and confidence for the inner you.

I know I know. I’m starting to sound a little OTT. Let me back up a little and explain things in a less emotive fashion. Let’s start at the start –

what is woman incredible?

Woman Incredible is a blog and a community designed solely for high-achieving women who are determined to create the body and the life of their dreams. It’s your personal trainer, nutrition/fat loss expert, motivation guru and life coach all rolled into one.  More than that, it’s the culmination of 11 years of my experiences with the female body and mind (I mean that in the least weird possible way :) ), and it’s the birth of my true passion – empowering driven women to follow their dreams and take (back) control.

so why this blog?

Well, despite my background being primarily in exercise and nutrition, I strongly believe that taking charge of your health, your weight, and your fitness is really only the beginning. It’s been my personal experience that the closer you get to your physical goals, the more power you suddenly command over other areas of your life. All of a sudden you might start re-thinking your career and how to get more out of your day to day life. You might put steps into place to take your relationships with family, friends and partner to the next level – or in some cases start to question whether those relationships are actually serving your values and goals. You might start considering reaching for goals that you’d previously given up on or not even bothered with in the first place.

In short, the more you take control of the way your body looks and functions, the more you start to command a certain power and determination over transforming other areas of your life. And you slowly but surely realise that you are incredible. Woman Incredible. And that you can do anything you set out to do. But – as any incredible woman will attest – it sure doesn’t help to have some great resources and a support network at your fingertips. Enter this blog :-)

So. Let’s be a little bit more specific about what you’re going to be enjoying as part of Woman Incredible:

goodies!

When you subscribe to Woman Incredible by RSS or email, now only will you score a free copy of my new book “How to be That Girl”, you’ll also receive free twice-weekly blog updates. We’ll cover a range of topics, with the focus being:

  • The latest and greatest on female fat loss
  • The truth about exercise and sculpting your body
  • Simple nutritional advice to suit even the busiest gal
  • Lifestyle tips and discussion on everything from insomnia and other sleep issues (ugh!) to stress management and dealing with overwhelm, to trying to rid yourself of the curse of trying to be, do and have it all (I know you’ve been there!)
  • Goal-setting and motivational support
  • The occasional reminder to give yourself just a little credit and reward for being so damn amazing already
  • Monthly inspirational interviews and audios with some of the most incredible women you’ll ever meet, from athletes to accountants; the common theme being that these girls are all living their dream and listening to how they did it can galvanise you to do the same
  • Fun, friendship, and the knowledge that you’re not alone

The truth is that a lot of what this site is about comes back to dealing with the ever-changing thing that is normal life. So that might mean that one day I’m charting out an ideal week’s exercise plan for you or discussing the perfect on-the-go breakfast, another I’m ranting about some ridiculous new fat loss myth, and the next I’m inviting you to a Lean Living seminar or even a girls night out!

Because you know what?

If there’s one thing you can rest assured of, it’s the knowledge that being an incredible woman is not about being ‘perfect’ all the time, or following a rigid and unrealistic diet. Instead, it’s about being informed of what it really takes to take charge of your health – and where you can bend the rules. In a nutshell, it’s about living life to the full – about demanding and then creating a vibrant, exciting and fulfilling life.

With a really hot body, of course ;-)

But really – it’s about you. Your goals. Your frustrations. Your time. Yes, your body. But first and foremost, your dreams.

So here’s to you.

Life is Now. Press Play.
